Oak Pergola

Our lovely customer wanted to replace their existing pergola as it was showing it's age. With the replacement pergola we increased the overall size and changed the orientation to be able to provide additional sun shade. As we always want to be as cost effective and environmentally friendly as possible we suggested re purposing the existing cedar panels to give sun shade on the roof (as per the existing pergola).

The posts, beams, fascias and trims are all solid oak with the hidden structure in planed all round redwood to provide an economic design. The existing cedar panels were saved and modified to be refitted under the roof to provide the sun shade as requested.

As with our garden rooms we pay as much attention to detail to each build with the frame all with hidden fixings, plugged, screwed and sealed to give an attractive finish.
