Cheshire-Wood: Project Two

Home Office

Llanferres

Our client has a large family and runs their own business. As the business grew so did the need for a dedicated office space, separate from the family home. The old, prefabricated garage was carefully taken down and the new office accommodation built off the existing slab. With the client owning a small holding we wanted to allow views both into the office to maximise daylight and to also to provide views over their land.

The property is in an area of outstanding natural beauty so allowing both natural daylight and maximising on the views helped shaped both the design and function of this build. The clients have now commissioned us for another project on the property which we feel shows the quality of our work and we could not think of a better testament.

The build was constructed of C24 and C16 structural grade timbers, with mineral wool insulation (supplied by the client in this case) with hardwood plywood, vapour membrane and Redwood Shiplap T&G boards to form the external skin with an existing stable door (supplied by the client) with an aluminium polyester powder coated roof.
